GETTING READY FOR AMATUER NATIONALS

9 WEST COAST YOUTH RIDERS HEADED TO AMATUER NATIONALS

In just a few short days riders from all over the West Coast will load up and head to Ohio for a week full of racing hoping to bring back a NATIONAL TITLE.

You can help these riders and their families with expenses by clicking the link below. All money raised via this post from 7/8/19-7/15/19 will be split evenly between all 9 riders.

Colton Shafer COLT45 according to his Facebook page hails from Caruthers California, rides a 50cc and 65cc motorcycle and if he's not racing he loves hanging out at the beach!

Cale Maixner sponsored by Wankers Corner is our Tualatin Oregon rider! His Facebook page shows him killing it in the 85cc Mod Class up in Castlerock WA a few weekends ago.

Olin Kissler is a regular at Castlerock and Rainer Cycle Bowl. He is no stranger to Amatuer Nationals and was a Keeran Racing $$$ recipient last year!

Maeson Baker loves to flat track and road race! His current address puts him in California but he will soon be moving to Texas and becoming a BIG BROTHER. Sad to see you leaving our program but we are hoping to see you next year when Keeran Racing comes to Dallas!

Tyler Raggio is a 450 rider and is a regular at Lodi Cycle Bowl. He has been to Amatuer Nationals a few times while riding 85's and 250's  so racing with the FASTEST KIDS IN THE COUNTRY doesn't make him nervous!

The Welty Brothers Damien & TJ live in Castlerock Washington and Keeran Racing was able to catch a glimpse of them in Salem Oregon this winter! They of course race Rainer and Castlerock and are excited to be headed to Amatuer Nationals!

Tarren Santero & Dominic Dias are teaming up and making the trip from California out to Ohio together. Tarren was our most active rider when it came to FUNDRAISING this year. He is not only FAST on his KAWASAKI but he has FAST FUNDRAISING SKILLS (not gonna lie I think his mama has a lot to do with it LOL). Dominic is local to the Lodi, CA area, many great racers have come out of Lodi. He'll be on a Yamaha 450 and looking to run out front. Both Tarren and Dominic will be attending Amatuer Nationals for their first time and are looking to bring home some hardware!

Expenses for a typical week with gas from West Coast to Ohio runs about $3500.00 so any help these families can get is MUCH APPRECIATED!

Keeran Racing and Baker Racing deliver green for AFT Rider Andrew Luker in 2019

CONCORD, CA. (January 10, 2019)- It’s a family of Kawasaki’s! Keeran Racing and Baker Racing sponsored by Chris Baker Hay Sales will provide Andrew Luker with the opportunity to compete full time in both the Singles and Production Twin classes in 2019 on Kawasaki machines.

Keeran Racing considered a couple different programs for the 2019 season. Partnering with Baker Racing keeps their entire program Kawasaki Branded. It’s convenient, teams are located within 50 miles of each other. Most importantly, Baker Racing is committed to providing equipment capable of winning and allows for career growth into the Pro Twins Class for Luker in the future. “My wife Jeanie and I are excited to see what Andrew can do for Baker Racing. I love racing but can’t commit the time that is needed to run my own team, partnering with Keeran Racing fills that gap.” says Chris Baker owner of Baker Racing and Chris Baker Hay Sales out of Petaluma California.

“Chris Baker works with Alan Rodenborn at Racing Unlimited when it comes to his twins. I feel confident I can get the job done in the Production Twins Class on these machines. As for my 450 program, I am 100% more confident now than I was in 2018. With a new bike built by a proven engine builder all that’s left is for me to do my job. I’m very excited for 2019 and thankful for all the people that contribute to my program.” says Andrew Luker.

Keeran Racing has been supporting the racing efforts of Andrew Luker since 2017. Co-Owner Kevin Keeran had this to say in regard to joining forces with Baker Racing “Chris is a racer just like I am, so he gets it. He understands what the needs of the team are. We all have the same goal, go out and win races. This will be my third season as Andrew’s mechanic, we have experience working together on Kawasaki Twins so we are familiar with what works for Andrew’s riding style. Having Baker Racing join Keeran Racing in 2019 definitely gives Andrew a great shot at a championship!”

Luker won the Daytona ST in 2015, Austin HM in 2016 and finished 2nd at the 2016 Peoria TT…it’s been a while since he’s seen the podium in an American Flat Track event. Keeran Racing and Baker Racing could be the dynamic duo that turns his luck around.
